Materials

Most shower walls are made of acrylic or an acrylic-based material such as AcrylX, Acrylic ABS, and Thermal Cast Acrylic. Thermal Cast Acrylic is known for the clarity it provides when cutting or engraving patterns. All acrylic materials offer mildew resistance, durability, and no-hassle installation.

Installation Type

Shower walls offer homeowners a high degree of versatility. Panels are available for alcove (freestanding) showers, three-wall alcove showers (attached to one back wall and two side walls), and two-wall corner models that fit snugly in a small space. Drain Location

The drain location in the shower pan is flexible. Drains can be installed left, right, or center. If installing a shower seat, keep in mind the drain must be on the opposite side of the seat. For example, if the seat is on the left side, the drain must be installed on the right side and vice-versa.

Finish

The number of finishes available for shower panels is extensive.
