Tub Shipping

The shipping cost for all tubs is included in the price of the item - Continental US only. Cast iron clawfoot tubs (at approximately 225 - 400 pounds each) and acrylic tubs (at approximately 180 - 350 pounds each) both require crating and ship via tractor-trailer only. Online orders for all tubs shipping from our PA warehouse include all shipping charges: crating, freight, and residential (to your home) delivery with liftgate service. The driver lowers the crate to ground level - you must arrange to have the tub brought into the house. For all other tubs, please refer to item description.

Note: There is a liftgate service fee for American Bath Factory products.

Please inspect all items for damage upon delivery or within 72 hours of delivery. This is especially important if there is obvious damage to the box or crate. If the item (not just the box or crate) is damaged, refuse delivery and call us as soon as possible. Make certain that the driver either issues you a receipt for the item or records the refusal in some other official manner. If you cannot inspect an item that requires a signature upon delivery, sign the receipt and print the words "Pending Inspection." This does not guarantee that the shipper will pay a damage claim, but it is better than signing for the item as "free and clear" from damage.

Let us know at the time of the order if the delivery location is not accessible to tractor-trailers. If we discover after shipping that the freight company cannot deliver the tub to your house, we will notify you and either have the tub held at the nearest terminal for three business days or try to arrange delivery to another location. If the tub remains undelivered, the tub will return to us, and we will bill you for the actual storage and shipping charges both ways.

Tubs shipping from our PA warehouse Only: You can choose to pick up any tub that is in stock in PA. When picking up, deduct $100 from the shipping-included price.

American Bath Factory, Elizabethan Classics, Sunrise Specialty, Kohler, Herbeau Creations, Porcher, and all other tubs: These tubs ship directly from the manufacturer. Pick-up and home delivery service is available.
