This product really solved a problem that we had in our bathroom remodel. Without this rod, our tub/shower would not be usable as a shower. So, I am satisified. We did, however, use an adhesive caulk to glue the tube together at the front joints. I wish there was a thin ring that would couple the two pieces together for further support, but I am happy with this "D" shaped shower curtain rod.
