We scoured the country to find the right faucet hardware for our antique tub that is an odd shape with odd sizes and in an odd position. This was the configuration we had to go with due to the fact that the hot and cold water pipes in our house were 3.5 inches at center, not 3 and 3/8 inch like the standard ones were. So we had to go with an adjustable faucet hookup. We had no problems with the service from Vintage Tubs or the quality of the product. We love it. BUT, as other posters have mentioned, be aware that if your tub has an angled side (meaning the side of the tub is not straight up and down but rather angles as many old cast iron tubs do), then the shower riser is going to follow that angle up out of the pipe connection and not be plumb with the wall. And, in fact the angle will be quite large. Might not be a problem with a telephone shower, but for our desired tall free standing shower, we had to bend the shower riser pipe. It is noticable that it comes out at an angle, it looks poorly aligned but in fact it is the only way possible for it to look. It is almost always covered up by the shower curtain so this is a somewhat minor complaint. Not sure there is really a true fix for this problem anyway. We toyed with creating some kind of shim/wedge at the tub wall point but worried about what material to use and making it watertight. We also considered just using a telephone type shower HOSE. Feel free to come up with your own creative solutions, but be aware that you will have to deal with this angle issue if your tub wall is angled, and it is not a minor consideration.

Ideal Faucet
We have gone through 4 other faucets since moving in to this 100-year old home, none lasted. We decided to upgrade to a quality faucet and couldn't be happier with our selection. After shopping around a few websites, the selection at Vintage Tub & Bath was unbeatable, and the price and warranty just made the deal impossible to pass up.
Once it was installed it was perfection. Looks great, functions like a dream and we're looking forward to years of reliable service from this piece of shining art.

Wall Mount Faucet
It is a little known fact that Randolph Morris was actually Knighted and received the Most Honorable Order of the Bath. Funny fact... Faucet is very good quality and looks fantastic in antique clawfoot tub. Added handheld shower was easy to connect.

Vertigo
Went in quickly an easily. Works well. Looks a little goofy ... brackets must be at a slant to keep the shower riser straight.
