Does what it need to do. Could have more tension when line is latched and locked into place. Otherwise ok.

Vintage loosolution to drying lingerie in the bath
I wanted to find a more vintage-looking and visually appealing solution to drying lingerie 'over the shower bar' and as I have a lovely claw-foot tub and just renovated my bathroom (and no longer have an actual 'shower bar') this retractable clothes line was the perfect solution. It is nicely plated in a heavy, shiny chrome finish and I mounted one part on one wall against white subway tiles. The cord fastener is mounted on the opposite tiled wall. When you want to use it you stretch the clothes line across to the fastener. When you're done, the cord retracts into the base unit and it looks like a lovely vintage wall fixture. It looks wonderful and is practical too.
