Adjustable Ceiling Bracket This product worked great for the installation of our surround shower for our clawfoot tub. May 29, 2012
Adjustable shower enclosure ceiling brackets The brackets worked fine for the angled ceiing I had to work with. These brackets, along with the risers allowed me to mount an old fashioned shower loop over a jacuzzi tub for use with a shower head. The brackets installed easily, just need a fine screwdriver for the set screw. The brackets swivel to accept a large angle. May 18, 2012
bracket for sloped ceiling The bracket is well made, but it only swivels in one direction so one must be careful with the installation. I anticipated that it would pivot just as most brackets do such as in ceiling fan installations. If you install this bracket without checking the direction that it will swing then it does not work and one has holes in the ceiling that must be repaired and the installation must be redone. Another problem with this bracket is that the diameter is much too large for the only oil rubbed bronze product supplied at this website for adding shower rod supports for the Elizabethan line. The threaded pipe supplied is diminutive compared to the Belle Foret swivel bracket. Of course one cannot change to a larger rod because then it would not fit the clamp supplied with the rod that attaches to the shower rod. So for secure installation one must wrap the threaded pipe with duct tape to enlarge it so that the set screw will tighten down securely. Confused Yet? March 28, 2012
Worked like a charm I needed a part for a slanted ceiling, to use with my shower enclosure. The previous owners used a wedge of wood to adjust for the slanted ceiling. I knew there had to be something out there. I checked my local hardware stores, Menards, and local plumbers. No one could sell me this part without the rest of the enclosure (at a cost ranging from $300 - $1200). I wasn't looking to spend that kind of money. So, I looked online, and there it was. VTB had exactly what I was looking for, but I had questions about some of the dimensions that they didn't have listed. So, I e-mailed them and the next day I received my answer. Within 7 days I received my Adjustable Ceiling Bracket in the mail. AND IT FITS PERFECTLY and it only cost me $25. THANK YOU!! October 6, 2009
