it works as advertised and we couldn't be happier (FYI - THIS REVIEW SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL AND WAS POSTED ON THIS SITE WITHOUT EDITING BY THE CMO OF VINTAGE TUB AND BATH). Customer: I recently purchased a Schon dual-flush toilet. I was encouraged by the two reviews despite nagging doubts that anything priced so far below the market must have serious drawbacks. It was delivered within the promised time frame in perfect condition, and I am happy to report that my fears were ungrounded--it works as advertised and we couldn't be happier. The ADA-compliant height initially felt a little strange, but is not a real problem. The reason I am writing is that I went back to the second review and clicked on "Report Inappropriate Review" to report an inaccuracy thinking it would give me a chance to comment, but it didn't. It is not that the review is inappropriate, but the statement that the small button is for the large flush and the large button is for the small flush isn't true. Omar evidently didn't read the instructions, where it explains that the small button extends both plungers, but that the plunger for the full flush doesn't move far enough to trip the full flush. The large button extends only one plunger, but far enough to trip the large flush. I confirmed this by timing the tank refill. I would also point out that if Omar is flushing solid waste with the small flush it is an added testimonial to the efficiency of the toilet. May 4, 2011
Good deal Before purchasing this toilet I never heard of this company, so I took a chance. Compared to other brands this toilet is 50-200% cheaper and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't install it so I don't know how the installation was but the guy who did it didn't have major problems, just a water line from the old one that wasn't compatible with this one. The quality and ease of use is comprable with other similar products. I like the dual flush function, the height and shape of the toilet. My only complaint is a subjective design flaw that put the flush button on top of the tank, so you need to get up in order to flush... After buying this one and using it for a while I'll consider replacing all of our toilets with this toilet. December 30, 2010
Water conservation with great performance Water conservation with great performance: I acquired this toilet for a second home, and I wanted to continue to teach my children about water conservation. I have 2 Kohler dual flush toilets in my primary home, and have been very happy with them. This Schon WaterSense Dual Flush toilet is every bit as good as the Kohler and it costs much less. The flushing is very effective, and the tank fills quickly. The toilet appears to be constructed very well, and installation was quick and easy. One quirky feature of this toilet is that the small button is for the large flush, and the large button is for the small flush. This does not impact the toilet functionality, but was not initially intuitive. I would recommend this toilet to anyone for any use. September 12, 2010
