This strainer comes packaged in a red velvet bag. Why such extravagance for something so lowly? I don't really know, but I like it. A touch of class. It makes me feel like I've raided the Queen's own plumbing supply store.
The build quality is excellent. Top notch fit and finish. The strainer has a "no fuss", pop-up/push-down design that operates smoothly. The chrome is very nice (as it should be for this price). The plastic underside and rubber gasket are sturdy and effective. It's a sink strainer, what else is there to say? I bought it once and I'd buy it again.
