To die for shades!
I just received a pair of these lamp shades today. I was hesitate on ordering them because they say the color is amethyst although to me they look burgandy. I called the mfg and they weren' any help she didn't have one to look at but she said the same thing. So I took a chance and ordered these anyway. All I can say is OMG they are to die for!! Just beautiful, I don't see any amethyst in them they are shades of burgandy and the panels that have the knots tied in are like a light chocolate, sounds like it wouldn't match but it does beautifully. If anything I would say parts of it looks like a dark plum but overall the affect is burgandy. They are very well made and the price is really good I would easily pay twice as much or more for them. I have custom ones I paid $200 for and they don't hold a candle to these!
If you are hesitant don't be they're awesome!! I have periwinkle walls and merlot drapes and they fit in perfectly.
