We will confirm the validity of the claim and either match the price or explain why the claim was rejected. We will honor this Best Price Assurance up to the time final payment is made on an order.

Clearance, factory reconditioned, damaged, pre-owned and reconditioned merchandise (including refinished vintage tubs and sinks) are excluded. This assurance applies to all new, factory sealed products. Items must be the same brand and model number. Items must be in stock at established U.S. online retailers. Exclusions include special sales, manufacturer rebates, coupons, close-outs, senior citizens discounts, buy one get one free offers, percent off sales price offers, discontinued, clearance, and damaged product, and typographical errors. We define competitors as established online retail stores - not wholesalers, liquidators, auction sites or used merchandise sites.

Refunds, Returns, and Our Satisfaction Guarantee

Our policy is simple: If you are not completely satisfied with a product you purchased from the Vintage Tub & Bath website, return it for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price.

No restocking fees. No time limits. No hassles.


Just call us toll free at 877.868.1369 and ask for the customer service department. We will issue you an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. This number simplifies and speeds up the processing of your return.

This policy does have a few common sense restrictions:

  • Items must be unused and/or uninstalled. We won’t issue a refund for the faucet used just so a guest bathroom will be ready for party guests or for the shower enclosure installed in a rental property so it would pass inspection. Some have tried.

  • We will not accept returns on improperly handled or abused items. For example, we do not accept faucet returns with wrench marks all over them (use a strap wrench to tighten plated nuts) nor will we take back items that were scratched because they were dragged across a dirty floor.

  • Please be advised all UPS packages must be inspected for damage within 72 hours of delivery and common carrier freight must be inspected for damage within 2 business days. Damages claims after these time periods may be rejected by UPS or the freight carrier. We reserve the right to not accept returns on items not inspected within these time periods.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable. We will pay for shipping both ways if we sent you the wrong item or the item is not as we described it. Read more about this on our Refunds & returns Page.

  • We will deduct the shipping cost from the refund amount for items listed as "Free Shipping." We will pay for shipping both ways if we sent you the wrong item or the item is not as we described.

  • No returns on custom work and special orders. Custom orders are just that – unique items or custom work done for a specific customer. At best, these items are very difficult to resell. Custom orders include shop work, custom-painted objects, and items we do not regularly list for sale on our web site.

  • We are not responsible for lost, misdirected, improperly packaged, or damaged return items. Please use a shipping company that insures and tracks the items they ship. Make certain that the item is packaged in accordance with their instructions. For example, UPS has issued Guidelines for Good Packaging you can use to properly pack an item for shipment. In most cases, you should be just fine if you reuse the original packing and shipping materials.
