Scuffs on the Exterior of the Tub
These marks can occur in a variety of ways including bumping the tub against something while moving it (like the sole of a shoe when moving the tub up a flight of steps).
To clean these scuffs:
Use a rag to wipe down the scuff with warm soapy water.
If that does not solve the problem, use rubbing compound on a wet rag. Remember to use only a small amount of compound and apply with a light, circular motion.
Use a rag to wipe down the scuff with warm soapy water.
You can also watch a video (running time: 0:46) explaining how to clean scuffs from the exterior paint of your clawfoot tub.
