Our policy is simple: If you are not completely satisfied with a product you purchased from Vintage Tub & Bath, return it for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price.

Please remember that if you are not certain about an item you are thinking about purchasing you can always call our excellent sales staff and they will gladly help you choose the right hardware.

If you need to return an item, just call us toll free at 877.868.1369 and ask for the customer service department. We will issue you an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. This number simplifies and speeds up the processing of your return. Please take advantage of our excellent Sales and Customer Service Representatives who are here to assist and educate you on your purchase which could save you the inconvenience of having to make a return.

Please be advised all UPS packages must be inspected for damage within 72 hours of delivery. All common carrier freight must be inspected for damage within 2 business days. Damages claims after these time periods may be rejected by UPS or the freight carrier. If you find damage, defects or missing parts within the times allotted above; please contact our Customer Service department toll free at 877-868-1369.

No restocking fees. No time limits. No hassles.

This policy does have a few common sense restrictions:
  • Items must be unused and/or uninstalled. Refunds will not be issued for damaged items, items that were installed (even if never used) or items missing parts or included hardware.

  • We won’t issue a refund for the faucet used just so a guest bathroom will be ready for party guests or for the shower enclosure installed in a rental property so it would pass inspection. Some have tried.

  • We will not accept returns on improperly handled or abused items. For example, we do not accept faucet returns with wrench marks all over them (use a strap wrench to tighten plated nuts) nor will we take back items that were scratched because they were dragged across a dirty floor.

  • We will pay for shipping back to us if we sent you the wrong item or the item is not as we described it. Read more about this under the Item is not as described page. NOTE: Many of the tubs, sinks, and toilets we offer are individually made from molds which may result in slight variances from measurements stated on our site or in the manufacturers' schematics. Vintage Tub and Bath assumes no responsibility for these variances. If custom building something to use with one of these products, utilize the on-line schematics as a rough guide ONLY and obtain exact measurements once product arrives on-site.

  • Vintage Tub & Bath will try to special order any item that is not listed on our website. All special orders are subject to the manufacturer’s return policies that may include RESTOCKING FEES plus all return shipping costs or the item being NON-RETURNABLE. Please inquire about return policies before purchasing special order items. Any custom work done by Vintage Tub & Bath may be NON-RETURNABLE or subject to RESTOCKING FEES.

  • We are not responsible for lost, misdirected, improperly packaged, or damaged return items. Please use a shipping company that insures and tracks the items they ship. Make certain that the item is packaged in accordance with their instructions. For example, UPS has issued Guidelines for Good Packaging you can use to properly pack an item for shipment.
