A great fit for a tight space I was looking for a toilet with a shallow projection as it needed to fit in a tiny newly constructed bathroom and code requirements had to be considered. I also wanted a quality item that had a look consistent with our 1913 home. This toilet was a great solution. It works in the space, has a substantial look, and the "tray" lid is an extra little bonus. I was also pleased with the value, even though dimension, not price, was the determining criteria. Great toilet. Horrible shipping. This toilet is just fine, but getting it here was a complete ordeal. They had to send this toilet to us 3 times because it always arrived broken. The UPS guy would look at me and tell me "They shouldn't even bother sending another one unless they are going to pack it well." They seriously put the toilet in a cardboard box, with no padding anywhere, and sent it across the country. It's hard to understand how the manufacturer can do this. Don't they ship their products all over the place? The folks at Vintage tub were helpful but slow in getting this problem initially addressed. My first request for replacement "disappeared" when they moved offices. Then I was told that all the broken parts had to be received in return, accounted for, inurance paperwork filed, and then another toilet would be sent out. Thankfully on the third shipment I didn't have to wait as long.It was a painful process that meant lots of time on the phone and frustration for me. It delayed our bathroom renovation project as well. Overall the toilet is fine, but the whole experience wasn't worth the hassle. October 2, 2009
