Wow! This was so easy to install. Everything you need is included. It came in a very sturdy wooden crate so there was no damage anywhere. I've seen these other places cost a lot more but don't let the price fool you into thinking it's low quality. It's well made and the faucet functions smoothly. Everyone that walks into the bathroom says "O wow." We bought this for a house that we are fixing up to sell but I love it so much I will buy another one when we build our new house. March 5, 2013
Worth the money It arrived well packaged, and I was surprised at the quality of the plumbing fixtures. I had only a certain area in which to place the tub, and it fits perfectly. I did not, however, consider the fact that the overall length was not the interior length. I probably would have ordered the regular clawfoot and not the princess. As the chart suggests, anyone over 5'5" may not be too comfortable in it. Happy with it over all, even my plumber liked the quality. December 6, 2012
Great Value, Great Product I have to say that I was a little nervous ordering this tub at first. But thankfully my worries were put to rest when the tub arrived. I ordered a custom paint job and was thrilled with the quality. The tub itself was great quality and not flimsy like I thought it might be. The faucet was high quality and heavy duty. This tub is amazing. I searched for months to find an affordable slipper claw foot tub. I can tell you that this is the best price you will find. Anything else you find that may be less expensive wont come with the faucet or pipes. No matter how hard you look, I am sure you will find your self back here to buy your new tub. You wont regret it. Very Nice My dream has always been to live in a 100 year old house. But here I sit my my mobile home!! When I decided to remodel my Master Bath I thought well I could bring the look of 100 year old bathroom to my mobile home! The tub sure did just that and is a real focal point. The tub is small but fits me perfect at 5'1'' if you are taller you may want the think the longer one. I work for a plumbing company and one of my co workers did the install. He never said a work about anything not being the way it should and if there would have been an issue he for sure would have let me hear about it over and over! Shipping was fast and tub was very well packaged. Nice tub for money. October 17, 2012
My 2nd clawfoot tub I love a well made clawfoot tub that evokes childhood memories from 40's and 50's. We have a 6' clawfoot tub at our lake home, and now this Randopth Morris clawfoot is for our in town home. It is shorter than the first and has a "dip" toward the back where one sits, therefore water must be pushed toward the drain. One must simply remember to do this so that there will be no surprises later. October 8, 2012
clawfoot tub just as advertised. looks great in our finished attic master suite. September 25, 2012
It is too small I should have purchased a bigger size. The tub is too small. September 17, 2012
Luck of the draw? My partner and I purchased a 103-year old house in Pittsburgh in 2010. For two years we've been completely renovating the entire house (talk about a mess!) Every so often we'd visit your website, dreaming of the day we could finally order our vintage tub & shower - since we knew it would add to the great historic feel of this home. Our tub was ordered and arrived within a week, which was awesome. However, it had to sit in the (unfinished) living room until today, when our contractors installed it. The first issue was the threading of the main supply pipe for the cold water valve (the decorative that mounts to the rim of the bathtub). It appeared to have been machined incorrectly, or damaged during manufacture by something that had gotten into the threading and chewed it up. Water leaked profusely from it. Finally, after about an hour, our contractor was able to fix it. Then when we were installing the (additonal, optional) wall-mount shower handle holder, the small lever that tightens the handle into the cradle completely broke off. It appears to only have been glued into its socket. (??) We didn't understand this, since there is threading for the handle and it's socket - yet glue was used instead. This made NO sense, and caused us a bit of uneasy irritation. Again, we muddled past it and came up with a solution. The tub & shower is finally in place, and we've both used it for the first time and it was really nice. I would not recommend this product solely on the fact that the items seem to be below-grade manufacturing, and we both feel that when you pay $1,000 (USD) for an acrylic bathtub, you certainly shouldn't be struggling to make parts work that should....well....work!
