Best fixtures I've ever seen
Strom Plumbing (aka Sign Of The Crab) makes some of the best engineered and best made plumbing fixtures I have ever seen. We are building a new bathroom for my wife and she wanted a clawfoot tub (Randolph Morris 72" also purchased from Vintage Tub) and she wanted the fixtures to be different as well, more old school. Strom Plumbing really filled the bill. This Tub Faucet was just one of the pieces we purchased and all of it is top notch. The stuff looks like jewels and they package it as if it were as well. You can tell that Strom takes pride in what they make and it really shows in the products out of the box. You will not be disappointed! Cudos to Vintage Tub for helping me work directly with Strom on working out some handle substitutions we wanted to make the look perfect. They also worked out some other wrinkles in the order to insure I got what I wanted. Overall a very good experience.

Good looking, works well
No problems with this tub faucet at all. It looks good and works well. I would have given it five stars had I not had a Rohl faucet in the sink for comparison. Rohl's polished nickel seems to shed water spots easier and the color is a bit warmer than Strom's. Overall, however, it is a great faucet for the price and I would purchase it again, whenever Rohl is not in the budget. It is a nicer polished nickel than Franz Viegener's, which is closer to chrome.

This faucet assembly looks great!! Easy to install. I am however a little dissapointed in the functionality and quality of the product. The mixing valve for the hot water does not open far enough to allow for a strong flow of water. And the water flow pattern is quite irregular. While I realize that this unit is to be an Old World look, I did expect that it would not be Old World operation.

Everyone loves this tub
The tub and all the hardware is the center piece of our home. The tub was easy to install and we have had no problems after a year of use. The only problem is trying to let everyone get a bath when friends come up because they all want to use it.

Clawfoot Tub Faucet - Deck Mounted English Telepho
Even though there was free shipping, it took 15 days to receive this faucet. It was packed carefully and easy to install.
I bought a similar one in 2000 and it did not come with the 6" extensions as this faucet.
The only fault I have with the faucet is the shower head and its anti-syphon value.
The old model did not come with this value.
Using it, cause the water too trickle out. I removed it and the shower head had a better water spray.
As I wrote, this faucet replaced one I bought in 2000. It is an excellent investment.lasting close to 10 years and used on a daily basis.

For my new home
I purchased a set for my new home we are building. The house is an old Cracker Style with a wrap around porch. I receivied my faucet , water supply lines, cross handle stops and drain. We are getting close to installing them as we finish up. I could not stop admiring the quality of the items. They are truly exquisite...........
