Seems Cheap; Blocks Curtain
After installing this item, I felt a bit ripped-off. Although a nice item to look at, the way that it braces to the ceiling and then to the bar means that the brace actually blocks a shower curtain from moving. This is very annoying. I now have shower rings on both sides of the brace, but can't fully move the curtain one way or another. Additionally, it seems a bit weak, and the fact that the two Enclosure Arms connect at the brace means that you have multiple weak spots where the weight of a shower curtain pulls down on one Arm, and maybe not the other, and makes the entire Enclosure Ring look lop-sided.
It is still a decent item. I would gladly have paid $150 for it...but I feel like it is not worth anything near the amount that I paid for it.
Oh, and make sure to get extra braces. They don't tell you that...and if you screw up cutting a brace to fit, know that you will need to buy a whole new one, for about $50.
All in all, go for something less expensive from a big box store.

Bathroom Renovation
The product, enclosure, new shower fitting and hand held unit, were exactly what we were looking for to renovate a period bathroom in a house we were improving for sale. The quality of the hardware is excellent, and fitted perfectly with the room. My husband installed the hardware without any problems or difficulty, and everything worked as expected. We would not hesitate recommending this product. Also, having checked several suppliers, this item was without a doubt the best quality for the price.

poor customer service after the sale
After installing the shower enclosure and shower head, we realized the shower head water flow was weak at best. We contacted Vintage Tub and Bath in an effort to exchange the shower head for another one. We were told by Vintage Tub and Bath that the poor water pressure from that particular shower head was a well known problem to them. However, they could not assist us in any way with the product they had sold to us. If we wanted to persue a replacement, we would have to contact the manufacturer of the shower head but since the manufacturer did not sell it to us, we were not able to do anything about the situation.
It was pretty insulting that Vintage Tub and Bath sold products that they knew would not be suitable to their customers and that they had no intentions of assisting with after the sale. We have since ordered all of our bath needs from a competitor, we feel standing behind what you sell is an important customer service.

i shopped and shopped and vintage had the best prices...2 years later i am so happy with my tub/ shower - i still can't believe the quality for the price- it was exactly what i wanted for my clawfoot tub--thank you so much!!!!

I love my shower enclosure! It is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to install and works great with our vintage claw foot tub. :-)

This works great and looks great
I bought this for a rental property I own. This still looks great after 2 years in the house. And I didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. That's a win-win in my book.

Overpriced
The oil-rubbed bronze finish is uneven, more like a dark brown paint with dark spots. The two shower head pipe parts would not fit in the coupling, requiring some sanding. Definitely not worth a $750+ price.
