Could use a little extra support
The shower is a little wobbly and a few extra support rods would improve that. The shower head continues to leak after several attempts by a plumber to address the problem. Overall we are pleased with the look and quality and functionality of the shower.

Well made, but an extra brace was really necessary
Shower enclosure is nicely made. Was really concerned about the sturdiness of the enclosure so I purchased a 36" brace when I placed the order. I'm glad it did. Attached to the back wall, the extra brace made the enclosure much more sturdy. 3 attachment points seem like a must. Also important to have two sets of hands. Impossible to do this job alone.
I didn't even try using the supplied screws and wall anchors that came with the enclosure. I thought they were were much too short for my lathe and plaster walls. Had access to both the ceiling and walls so I installed wood blocking and used 2" S.S. wood screws instead. I think this made a big difference
Some reviewers have complained about the performance of the shower head, but with fairly strong city water pressure I think it performs beautifully.

Shower/Tub Enclosure
Every shower is a pleasure with this new shower enclosure. Ceramic faucets work beautifully--smooth and tight. Shower rod opens and closes smoothly, and is sturdily affixed. No problems with installation. My only wish is that the shower rod was oval-shaped rather than oblong, and that it was a little longer to cover my very long clawfoot tub.

Great Products, Great Service
Highly recommend this company and its products. I use salvaged plumbing fixtures (tubs and sinks) in my remodels and Vintage Tub & Bath finishes them off with products for spectacular results. People wonder how I can afford to remodel my rentals with such great stuff. Now you know my secret!

nice
everything was nice. This was the closed thing to the original I could find. The tub fixture was soild and works great. The shower head although nice needed too much water to function properly so I switched it out with a water saver head. I wish the shower ring was one size larger. I dont remember if there was an option, but a few more inches would be nice. Overall great product.

Vintage Showerhead
I'd been looking for something to match my clawfoot bath tub and this product fitted the niche exactly. Looks good, good water flow thru showerhead and relatively easy to install (except that I didn't have shut-offs on the water line to the tub. Also wished in retrospect that I had ordered the extended shwer rail. Fast delivery service.

Good product
Actually easier to install the plumbing than the encloser portion. If you follow the directions, the shower curtain (purchased seperately) is too long. Just raise the enclosure brackets closer to the curve of the riser. The entire project took less than 4 hours. Sor far works great and wife is happy. It was my first real DIY project and worked out great. I'm smarter than most so that factors in.
