Elongated toilet seat
I'm sure it's an awesome product, however, I purchased the wrong one, for an ELONGATED toilet, and we have round ones...make sure you have the right measurements before you buy:)

A Must Have
We bought this combination toilet seat over a year and a half ago when our daughter was 2 1/2 years old. At first for potty training, we tried the traditional portable potty seat on top of our regular toilet seat. Soon after, my daughter seemed to outgrow it, and it seemed unsanitary, unstable (not to mention the regular toilet seat got scratched up). Now, with this combination toilet seat, my daughter feels secure and doesn't slide around when getting on or off. It cleans up beautifully and still looks brand new to this day! It is so convenient for everybody in the family. It was worth every penny!

Good kids seat, some detractors
This was the only soft-close integrated kids seat I could find, so deciding to buy it was easy. It works pretty well, and is generally liked by kids and adults.
Pros: easy install, adjustable bracket ensures a good fit with bowl, reasonably sturdy and comfortable despite being plastic, no exposed screws (these typically rust within a year or two), easy to clean
Cons: NOT male friendly...the adult seat is recessed below the kids seat and is difficult to lift with one hand even with practice, the kids seat is NOT soft close (it's pretty lightweight so the slam isn't too earth-shattering)

Should Have Gotten This A Long Time Ago!
After nearly a year of dealing with potty seats that sit on top of the toilet, and finally being disgusted by how gross it is to clean them (not to mention how inconvenient it was to have to constantly remove and replace the seat depending on who was using the toile), I discovered that this product existed.
My daugher (now 3 1/2) LOVES this seat, and so do we.
She is now fully independent and no longer worries that the seat will move under her, or that it won't be there when she needs it.
For the first time, she is now telling us she doesn't need us to come to the bathroom with her. She loves the fact that she can go like a big girl, and so do we!
We bought 2 - one for downstairs and one for upstairs - and are so glad we did!
This is a must have for anyone with children learning to use the potty.

Excellent potty training seat!
My son loves the fact that he uses the "big boy potty" - The seat is all in one and easy to clean! The easy close hinges are a must and my favorite part of the seat!

Combination Toilet Seat
This toilet seat should be standard in every home. It looks great, not obvious unless you know it is there. A reasonably comfortable standard toilet seat (hard plastic) for ages 2 through 90. Besides being comfortable for all children (up to at least age 7), it is a logical, sanitary, and convenient progression for potty training. There is nothing to empty and no awkward relearning when it is time to move up, plus avoids the balance and fear issues of a small child and a large hole. Amazingly comfortable for every age. Guest children and parents are impressed because it is one of those "this is cool" items. It is reasonable in price and appears well made. It has been in use a few months and great comments with no complaints. It was purchased as a gift for my son's house and based on the success; it is now officially THE GIFT for new parents or grandparents from me. Great Product!
