Perfect touch
I am so excited to have my new kitchen put together and am thrilled that I chose this substantial and beautiful faucet set to accompany my Whitehaus farmhouse sink from Vintage. They greatly contribute to the Old World feel I was going for. Vintage Tub and Bath delivered these products quickly and packaged in such a way as to make damage just about an impossibility--even shipped clear across the country. Thank you Vintage and Whitehaus.

Kitchen Sink Faucet

Your Kitchen Sink Faucet looks beautiful especially mounted behind our spectacular sink also purchased from you (the sink actually would be even better had it vertical sides instead of slight angles. And also if the smaller bowl was a little wider.Regardless
Both are admired by all who see them.
Sadly we have had nothing but trouble from leaks at the top of the main connection (screw top) despite using teflon tape and or plumbers seal. After applying those, it seems fine for a short time and then starts leaking again from where the bridge swivels. I just wonder if we have the correct washers in there. It seems to work loose at the top screw and I have to continually try to tighten it. Sometimes that works for a few minutes,hours but seldom longer than a day or 2. It seems to work loose quicker as the bridge is moved from side to side. My wife has for over a year said that we should send it back BUT I have said that hopefully I can make a permanent repair someday.
I would welcome any assistance and advice as to how to stem this problem. When it works as it should it is just perfect. (and we did pay a lot more for this Whitehaus Collection Faucet than the first one which was sent up to Vancouver to us and was not the one we wanted.

Great Value
I was surprised on heavy the piece was. It is solid, all components are heavy duty brass. I also liked the spray handle, the lentth of the hose and the quality of the hose. What is nice about the high bridge is that we never have to move the handle. All our large crab pots fit easily in the sink. When we first turn on the water, the amount of force to turn the handles was very light. The plumber checked the fittings and he explained that the cartridge is ceramic and only ight force is needed. It was a bit odd at first, and took about a week to get use to the turning pressure. But now it feels normal to us and when we use our other sinks in the house, we feel like we have to fight them. The faucet is great and the price was the best we could find.

high quality faucet
I love the new faucet. I also purchased a soap dispenser to match and it is great also. The quality of this faucet is apparent when you see it installed and when in use. Glad I have it in my kitchen. Looks so classy.

Beautiful But Failing
This faucet is indeed beautiful. But in my faucet, after two years the cartridge in the hot water handle wore out. The faucet started dripping excessively. The warranty is for only five years. If you can't prove your purchase you're in for a $65+ replacement cartridge. That's for only one cartridge. For such an expensive faucet, it should last a bit longer, don't you think?
Also the fitting that holds the sprayer gun in place broke. Instead of ordering a replacement, I was able to glue it toether. Again, with this sort of performance, why not purchase a nice looking, inexpensive faucet at HomeDepot?
