    Quality cooktop This, remarkably, nearly fit into the cutout from a former 24" cooktop -- an additional 1/4 inch was removed from the front of the existing cutout in order to fit this unit.  Unfortunately, the included instructions/hardware for attaching it to the underside of the countertop were baffling/useless.  Since the cooktop has reasonable weight, I used hot glue in place of the hardware, which worked fine to secure it into the very close fit in my opening.  A larger opening would be problematic.  But for that issue, this would have received five stars.
