Loving my dramatic black & white tub
We had a few hiccups in the beginning (I think because we had it painted) and the tub arrived but not the parts. I called them that evening and they expressed the rest of the parts right away to us. It is very heavy and will take some strong men to get it into place. I wish there were more videos or picture instructions to the different parts and pieces but we eventually figured it all out. We still have to paint out ceiling and mount the shower curtain frame but it looks amazing already :-) I would absolutely recommend them to others, just make sure you know how to do some basic plumbing first...lol.

Beautiful
Beautiful product. Came with all listed parts. Was on back order, but arrived sooner than expected. The people at vintage tub and bath are a pleasure to work with.

Very nice
Ordering was easy, friendly and helpful. This tub came way faster than expected, I have not put it in yet as the remodel process is slow for the DIYer. The crate could have been a little sturdier, but that said it was still delivered in excellent shape.

Great value for a clawfoot tub
I have now purchased three of these tub packages! I bought the first one for my own house, and was very impressed with the quality. I have then purchased two more to install during the remodel of a 1920 bungalow duplex that we rent out, the old tubs were in very poor shape and had been installed in the '40s or '50s to "modernize" the place. We tore them out and put these in, and it makes all the difference in the world.
The package is a really amazing value, as the salvage yards around here sell old work out tubs alone for $500-700, and most of those look terrible and need to be reglazed! Even my plumber was really surprised when he found out how much the entire package cost, and asked for the name of where I got them.

clawfoot tub
this clawfoot tub is a better quality tub then the original clawfoot tub. The tub is heavier then the old one and exterior has a beatiful finish. The hard ware that came with it is of great quality and no plastic. GREAT BUY VINTAGE TUB AND THANKYOU FOR YOU FINE SERVICE.

Not for the inexperienced
I bought the tub, combination shower, faucet and hand-held, and supply lines. I love it now, but there were a number of potentially fatal mistakes that could have been avoided. First, it's important to realize the tub is really heavy and that the space must be ready to receive it. The delivery and set-up service we hired through Vintage carried it to our second floor bathroom and attempted to put the feet on, but put them on wrong. We couldn't figure out why the tub looked crooked and were horrified at the thought of having to return it. We finally realized the feet had been put on wrong, probably because the movers were so exhausted they just threw them on instead of reading the instructions. We later had to use a car jack to raise the tub and reinstall the feet. Second, the rubber ring connectors on the supply lines are inadequate to stand up to normal water pressure and are poorly designed. The supply line burst one morning after a shower, but fortunately we were still at home and shut off the water immediately, which required us to hire a plumber to make the join more secure. Third, the overall instructions were not as clear as they should be considering the complexity of the products and even when installed as designed the results are inadequate as described above. Other than that, it's great. Lesson from those who have gone before - approach this project with eyes wide open.

Love both the tub and the service!
Vintage Tub & Bath is top-notch and professional from start to finish, and delivers as promised. And the tub! It is marvelous, and of excellent quality. Maybe someday I'll get to redo another bathroom. If so, I will definitely look to Vintage Tub and Bath for a tub and fixtures. Thank you!
