Works great, but looks — and is — wobbly
I have for many years used the Heatra towel warmers, also my Warmrails. Because their feet extend fairly far out from the rack, I thought I'd upgrade to the taller, narrower RH Traditional for my small downstairs bath.
On the plus side, the RH Traditional does a wonderful job of heating towels — seems to heat them more evenly than the Heatra. I like the option for the satin nickel finishs, too.
However, I can't imagine why anyone thought that the "cradle" design of the attachable feet on the RH Traditional could be even vaguely stable. The broad cradle feet aren't designed to hold the towel warmer in place on their own, and the separate, two-piece attachment brackets that are supposed to clamp the fairly heavy warmer to the broad cradle feet loosen rapidly. While the Heatra had practical plastic caps for the feet, the Traditional has sharp metal edges — so the company sends along some black stick-on rubber pads to put on the feet. Those unstick after about a week and turn up elsewhere in the bathroom. Visually, the RH is pretty sad looking — there's always one foot off the floor and the whole rack is tilted a few degrees back or forward in the cradle.
To say I am frustrated and disappointed (having just rescrewed the brackets for the third time this month) would be to put it mildly. If you are trying to decide between the RH Traditional and the Heatra, pick the Heatra! I wish I had.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She has really enjoyed it and told me it works perfectly. It was a great price too!

Wouldn't be caught cold without my towel warmer!
I love my towel warmer! No one should live in New England without this - it makes the shivering end of the shower, which I used to dread, a wonderful, cozy experience. The other great thing about it is my bathroom never smells like musty, not-quite-dry towels. I put it back on the warmer after using and it's bone dry and odor-free the next morning. Really saves me doing laundry. My secret tip: because I like a really warm towel in the winter months, I always have two towels on the warmer. When I get out of the shower, I use the bottom towel which is much warmer than the top one since it has had the heat trapped. Then I hang the wet one on top of the other and they are dry and warm for the next time. One thing to remember....these do not heat up rapidly. I actually leave mine on all the time - except when I'm traveling of course. Great product!

Cozy towels
We love the warm cozy towels that come off this great heated rack. Perfect on a winter morning! And we also love how the towels dry completely and don't get musty.

Warmrails RH traditional towel warmer drying stand
This item certainly does dry and warm the towels. You have to make sure when ordering a device of this nature that you look for those two items directly. If it does not say that it can "dry" the towels you run the risk of fire - so I was glad to find that yours was work specific.
As far as putting it together, it would seem very simple, however, the feet are very difficult to put on and it is still not that steady on the floor. The directions were somewhat difficult to understand and it is wobbly. Other than that it does a good job.

Stand alone towel rack
We recently moved to an apartment that doesn't have adequate towel racks, and didn't want to put more holes in the walls. We left behind a wall mounted heated towel rack, which I knew my husband really enjoyed. We got hooked on warm towels after traveling in Europe. To find this unit that didn't require fastening and fit the space we now have was really gratifying. My husband was prepared to be disappointed but is very happy with the towel stand and how it performs. A real winner!

Doesn't do the job
Nice looking, good quality but doesn't do the job. The towels warm basically only on the top rung, and would return it but the freight would be tremendous. Looking for someone to give it to.
