    Coloured basket strainer I appreciate that creating a coloured strainer is most easily and economically achieved by using plastic, however II have reservations regarding its durability as opposed to one made out of metal. It's been in daily use for nearly two years with no issues and continues to seal well - a major annoyance with some other sink strainers. Time will tell if plastic is the best choice. So far I'm satisfied with the product. May 16, 2012
    Basket Strainer If you can't afford the stainless steel basket then this would work for you just fine. It seemed well made, but when I saw it I wished I had gotten a stainless steel one. So I am returning it. January 2, 2012
    Plastic? Given that the Whitehaus sink we purchased was of such expense and quality, we expected this matching piece would be more substantial and less "plastic-y". Naturally, is a good color match and better than chrome would be, but the quality is just not as high as it should be. October 22, 2009
