Thin junk
Tubing material too thin to suport a shower curtain rod. Requires shower curtain to be fully supported by ceiling anchors.
Cannot be shortened and threaded because it is too thin to fit in a 3/8 die guide.

Randolph Morris 65 Inch Shower Riser Pipe
Product was lighter weight metal than expected, but worked fine.

Excellent value
Works great, can be cut like any other copper pipe for different types of installations. I ended up soldering a threaded connector on the bottom to connect to a conventional faucet rough-in.

A rise in temp/BP
Really load up on the teflon tape or you'll be taking it out and redoing it, as it will leak.

Beauty/value/service
I found the customer service excellent, as well as the product look and the prices. I had some trouble getting a coupling not to leak. I finally sealed it well enough; but overall the value was excellent and so much less than any other similar product that I have no regrets with the purchase and would order from this company again with no hesitation.

as advertised
Bought this riser to replace a cracked riser in an existing setup. Everything I needed came with the riser and it was fairly easily installed. No problems once I stopped being chintzy with the teflon tape. And it looks great.

Shower Riser
Excellent product. Easy to install for anyone who knows a little about plumbing but for those who don't the product doesn't come with instructions so find/hire someone to install.

Shower riser set
During the process of refurbishing my clawfoot bath tub I updated the shower component. The first shower riser set I ordered had a blemish in the brass plating and Vintagetub immediately express shipped out another piece of the set knowing that I had a contractor on schedule to install this. Unfortunately, their supplier shipped it to the wrong address, but that was remedied, and the item was here on time. However, the coupler was missing from the two parts of the riser set, and neither box contained the part. I know Vintagebath would have express shipped the part, but I was in a contractual timeframe and my plumber was able to find an appropriate replacement part locally. It is beautiful with the new tub fawcett and shower head.
