OUT-STAND-ING!!
We have a custom stone fireplace, w/ a very large opening. Our decor is contemporary & we have been on the hunt for a simple, strudy & well-priced screen. We had just about given up hope (called the custom place to talk about our order last week) when i found this!!!
its truly outstanding. noone would ever guess it isn't custom, nor would they ever imagine how reasonably priced it is!!!
right out of the box... attach the extra "legs" & viola- lit a fire!!!!!
we're thrilled that we got it so quick (2 days) & truly couldn't be happier w/ the quality, look & price (our standards are exceptionally high, so this is saying ALOT!)!!!

Great value purchase
We have a pretty large fireplace opening. It was very difficult for us to find the right size screen for it. We were about to order the custom-made when I saw this screen on vintage tub web site. It fits the size of our fireplace opening perfectly, it also matches the antique decor of our old house. Besides, it saved us hundreds of dollars: custom-made screen would have cost us almost three times more. It is a well-made screen. There is a tiny wave on the mesh in one of the corners of the screen. However, it is hardly visible and doesn't spoil the overall great look of the screen.

Perfect fit!
We love the look and fit. The black iron looks great against our brick fire place and white mantle. The top handles and feet are sturdy and well connected to the frame. The item is stable with no wobbles on my uneven hearth. The screen came completely assembled and well packaged, thank goodness!!
