LOVE
We adore our slipper tub and use it almost daily. It is very comfortable and has a true vintage look and feel. The only thing to keep in mind and prepare for is, they drop the tub off in the crate on the street in front of your house so you need to be prepared to open the crate, inspect and have some big guys ready to help you move this beast!

The best gift you'll ever give yourself!
I bought this tub during Summer 2011, and I have really been enjoying it. At the time, Vintage Tub offered white glove delivery service through a third party, and I had a lot of problems with that service, but it really had nothing to do with the tub itself or its quality. Since Vintage no longer offers that delivery service, it's a non-issue as far as my review is concerned. So I will focus on the product. This tub is a beauty. Vintage's salesperson (Mimi) walked me through assembling a custom tub package, as I was very confused about what I would need (I was in information overload when we "met"). I was thrilled to learn that I could have the tub custom painted in the colors of the "woman cave" I was creating, for a pretty minimal fee. I just gave Mimi the Benjamin Moore paint info and it came out perfect, the tub in dark chocolate brown and the feet in robin's egg blue. The tub is exquisite... beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, and exactly what I've been wanting for the past 20 years. And it has a "vintage" feel that goes perfectly with my old Victorian home (sidenote, last week I had a plumber here and when he saw it, he said "Wow, you don't see those much anymore!!"... he thought it was original to the house!). I got the telephone faucet in an end-mount, and although we had a few minor quality issues with the ceramic part of the handles, Vintage was good about resolving them promptly. Overall, the plumbing is also exquisite quality and when you see it, you understand why it's so expensive. The spray is wonderfully heavy, not in a bad way but in a "this is excellent quality" way. I spent four months searching for just the right tub, and I don't regret that I chose this one. It is reasonably priced compared to others I looked at, and it is head and shoulders above others priced similarly, in terms of quality. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for ease of installation was because the delivery people screwed up the foot installation, and I had to pay a contractor to fix what they screwed up, and we discovered that the feet didn't fit the tub quite as perfectly as they should have. But after some consultations with the production people at Vintage, it was decided that the imperfections wouldn't effect the stability of the tub, so I decided to view that as an "artistic flaw." God knows my house is filled with those, so it fits right in. Nothing helps my sore back like a 2-hour bubble bath. I bought one of those little pillows with suction cups, and it provides the perfect cushion under me. If you have the space, definitely get the 67" tub. I'm only 5'4" but it fits me perfectly. Also, I was a bit concerned whether I'd like the slipper back, I thought maybe it would go up too high and cramp my neck... but no, it is perfect. It just envelops you in its warmth. Get it, you won't regret it. Thank you to the staff at Vintage for their efforts in making me a happy customer, ultimately!

clawfoot slipper tub
This was a great experience from start to finish. First of all we saved $1800 on everything we ordered rather than buying it locally, even the "discount" places. The website is easy to use but the person I spoke to on the phone when I ordered, "Mike", was totally responsible in helping us get the best deal and everything we needed. The tub arrived on time and crated perfectly--no damage whatsoever. It is beautiful!! Our bathroom is best looking room in the house and we love showing it off. The tub itself is comfortable as well as attractive! We really have no negative comments

Great Value
I am a builder and ordered claw foot tub and hardware for master suite. The owners were thrilled when I came in under budget on plumbing fixtures by 1,200.00 with no compromise in quality. They love their new bath and the great price and quick delivery made me look like a champ.

Tub & Faucet Set Purchases
I'm very pleased with my purchase.. both the clawfoot tub and the faucet set came in great condition and as expected. I'd say the best and most impressive thing about using this site is the level of follow-through; I really appreciated receiving all of the many email updates about what was going on or where my tub was. Really can't complain! Everything went extremely smoothly.
