Stately Blue Heron
Thank-you for this opportunity - we were disappointed with the length of time to receive this item - was NOT TIMELY. However, it is a beautiful addition to the garden, as your description says : "Stately". We are definitely pleased with it. It stands beside a very large planter as if smelling the trailing ivy.
I must comment on the structure of the heron - it came in 2 pieces with 2 long screws to connect the bottom to the top. Again, HOWEVER, there were no directions, and screwing 2 legs that are cemented together, into a solid top, is impossible! So my husband had to enlarge the holes for the screws, and the 2 pieces are now connected, although not securely..... ie., if you pick up the bird by the top, it comes away from the bottom - the only thing left is for him to sodder the pices together. I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN YOUR COMMENTS PLEASE.

Beautiful - except
I purchased the Heron for my daughter to be set up by her background pond. The Heron is beautiful and looks great but one of the feet was broken off when received. We could not find anything to get it to stay on, but it doesn't reallly show anyway when sitting in the pond surroundings. I would actually like to get one a little smaller for my yard. I would defintely recommend as it is very stately looking! Thank you,

My Blue Heron
It actually was bigger then I thought-nice. It seems well constructed and very sturdy. It is sculpted well. I gave it as a gift and it was really well liked. I think it will be an excellent garden piece for accent.

wonderful addition
I have a very small space in front of my townhouse...I was trying to make it look like a flowing water - with myrtle and rocks and tall grass...I put my new heron in front of the grass and it really improved the view. Even though statue is very close to the sidewalk it still looks good even in close proximity - the statue us very well made. It was missing anchors when it arrived but I contacted Vintage Tub and they wrote to the manufacturer and I received the anchors within a week - great service, thank you!!

Welcome to our garden
We love our cast aluminum blue heron that now stands in our back garden over looking a pond that receives visits from real blue herons. I had been looking for such a statue for some time. Others were VERY expensive or cheap and looked it.
This heron is a good height and weight. We have received nothing but compliments. The price was right too, considerably less expensive than in the local stores. The fact that the statue was on sale and came with free shipping and handling were extra bonuses that I wasn't expecting. The order came in a very timely manner. I would not hesitate to deal with "Vintage Tub and Bath" in the future.
