  • Herbeau Creations of Lille, France - a manufacturer of superbly crafted authentic French Provincial faucetry since 1857 - offers this Fireclay Farmhouse Kitchen Sink.
  • Shown above in white, sides unglazed. Also available in French Ivory.
  • Faucet (shown above) and 3 1/2'' Basket strainer sold separately.
  • Also, this sink can be undermounted provided a support structure able to withstand 180 lbs. of weight is used.
  • Fireclay is a variation of vitreous china that has greater amounts of quartz and feldspar in the clay material. It is denser, thicker and approximately 30% heavier than regular clay. These characteristics allow for a durable, smooth, flat surface on large fixtures not attainable with standard vitreous china.
  • This fireclay kitchen sink can be used with a garbage disposer - the manufacturer recommends using their hc4513 disposer flange and hc4514 stopper..
  • PLEASE NOTE: Fireclay sinks have slight variations in size, and also all four sides of sink have a slight pitch. We highly recommend the sink be on site when cabinets are being ordered or manufactured. Not recommended for installation with a laminate countertop

    Crash The sink is as beautiful in person as it is in the picture. I haven't installed it yet, so can't comment on that. It did come very quickly, and in good condition (one small scratch in the corner, so I can't say excellent). We were a bit scared about getting it off the delivery truck after receiving all the emails, but the delivery person was very helpful, he had a dolly, and brought it right into the garage for us. If he hadn't we could have moved it on our own, but it does take two people to lift and move it. I would have liked to see a color sample for the French Ivory sink. We took a risk, and I really like the color (kind of a taupish off white), but it would have been nice to see a swatch on the website. October 4, 2010

    Who knew that a sink could be a work of art? For me, a sink needs to look good and be easy to clean. This farmhouse sink is much, much more. It makes you feel as if you're living in simpler times, when families sat around the table and enjoyed a home made meal together. And it's elegant and beautifully made. August 6, 2008
