Great gas cooktop!
After looking high and low for a gas cooktop to replace our solid electric one (just moved into this house and I really prefer gas), we FINALLY found one that would fit in the hole that would be left by removing the electric one. We didn't want to replace the countertops and chose this Bertazzoni simply because we had exausted all other efforts and it was literally the only one we could find that would fit into the current opening. Although we were not familiar with Bertazzoni, this cooktop got good reviews wherever we looked and we liked that it had 6 burners where most of the 36" models we found had 4 or 5. Delivery took nearly 4 weeks, as the first one sent out was supposedly delivered by the delivery truck, but we never got it. I called Customer Service and got a prompt, friendly person who was very effective in tracking down the problem and getting a replacement one right out (I got the replacement 4 days after talking to Customer Service...that's delivery from NJ to AL, too) Maybe it's because the deliverer was a courteous Southern man, but delivery was not just curbside as described, but he brought it into my house for me. The cooktop is a little tricky to get used to igniting, but after I figured it out, no problem. The burners accomodate large and small pots, with varying sized gas plates...even my HUGE tamale steamer that normally would take two burners to get all the bottom covered with heat. Very satisfied with the cooktop and with Vintage Tub & Bath!

36" Gas Cooktop Bertazzoni Pro Series 6 Burner
Shopped for monts prior to purchase and this is by far the best cooktop for the $$. I have recommended this same unit to friends and clients. Vintage Tub made the process easy to order and pickup. I would definately purchase this unit if you are in the market for a drop in pro look.
