  • Cheviot offers this simple yet sophisticated vitreous china shelf to add a nice feature to your vintage bathroom.
  • Mounting hardware not included. To mount this shelf, you need to use two butterfly bolts, two toggle bolts, or two lag bolts.
  • Due to the weight of the shelf, at least one of the mounting bolts needs to be installed in a stud for support.

    excellent product! This shelf is heavy but pretty easy to hang (simple to figure out) - our house is early 1900's and the shelf went into wood not sheet rock. Looks very nice with our early 20's farmhouse decor. January 22, 2013

    cheviot shelf The shelf looks great, hung easily, and goes well with our retro bathroom.  My only complaint is that the flat part of the shelf is not actually flat, it has a bit of a crown in the center.  We end up having to place all our items either at the front or back of the shelf or they slide/fall.     Excellent product Despite what the description said, it came with a very nice set of screws and plastic spacer which made the installation very easy - although beware as with my shelf the hanging holes were not level, so mark where to drill using the shelf itself. Anyways I'm very happy with it. December 19, 2009
    Attractive, functional shelf Attractive, functional shelf with plenty of space to place soapdish, toothpast holder and other miscellaneous items. It is of quality porcelain.     Cheviot Shelf I purchased both the small and large Cheviot shelves, and was very pleased with the quality and Vintage look I was going for. Our 1/2 bath is small, the two shelves provide ample space for all necessities. I put the smaller one above the larger one, and was pleased with how well they looked. One note of caution, since the shelves are heavy, it may be wise to have two people help with the installation. If only one person is available, recommend using a template. Great products!
