    Cast Iron Tub - 72-inch Drop-In Style, No Faucet Drillings - Cheviot 5 5 2 2
Great Tub The tub is very heavy and well made It is like a throw back to when things were quality made May 27, 2012
really nice tub This is an elegant and beautiful tub made in Portugal, nice and simple with a high quality enameled finish over cast iron. The bottom is slightly rounded to contour to your body and thankfully it's also nice and smooth (none of that rough non-skid stuff to scratch you). It's really deep and long, and although we are too far from the end of construction for me to enjoy a bath in it yet, I am sure that it will be a wonderful tub in which to take a nice long hot soak. The only complaint would be that I had to use a grinder to smooth off a bit of the cast iron on the bottom brackets where the feet screw on. This was no problem for me, but for someone less DIY inclined you would need a pro to install it. There needs to be some substantial framing to create a skirt and support the tub. Shipping will take a while, but this is a lot of cast iron tub for the price. September 26, 2010
