This bracket is sturdy and seems well made. They are holding up a heavy window box full of soil. The info which came with the bracket said "wrought by our blacksmiths" with an illustration suggesting colonial America but also said "made in India."

Just the Brackets I needed
These brackets a heavy, lovely, and have served my purpose to a T.
I have very small bedrooms, and needed to get some storage space that did not take up any floor space. I wanted wide shelves and 10" brackets were not that easy to find. I was lucky enough to find these, which are as attractive as they are functional. I have 2 pair of these brackets now, that support 1 x 12 shelves about 15 " from the ceiling. They're just what I needed

Fair, Nice brackets
I purchased these brackets on sale, and was very pleased with the value. Shipment was quick, currently they are proudly displayed in my home.
