It's Fine
It is exactly as advertised. A towel warming convenience. Sturdy. Seems well made; will hold up to having towels pulled off it. It dries damp towels over a period of time. The sequence of bars (many) and the space in the middle allow for more ease in hanging things on it. A full towel hung over the top will drape to cover the middle open space but it is easy to put a second towel folded in half into the space. Both towels when damp will dry after a while; dry towels will become warm. It is not designed to be a clothes drier although we have used it to warm up sweaters and nightclothes that have gotten cold in our particular living space.
My goal with this appliance was to offset a cold bathroom that is dormered into the second story of the house. The unit is placed between a window and one wall. It just fits in the space and I approach it from the right hand side. If I had had a bigger space to put it in, that would have been better and would have allowed me more access to it. Under the constraints I was working with, it still is accessible, does its job, and does not protrude into the room very much at all.
The contractor seemed to be able to install it easily. He had planned ahead with an outlet nearby, but you have to notice how much cord the appliance has. It is enough, but it is not super long cord so plan accordingly. When the warmer is not plugged in, I put the pronged plug over the lowest rung and that works fine for us.

Towel Warmer - 20.5-inch x 31-inch, Straight Bars
We have a cabin on a lake in the State of Washington...not a dry place. We added a second bathroom and decided to order this towel warmer. Being in construction I did a lot of investigating to make sure I didn’t purchase junk. I have to say, this towel warmer is the best thing since running water! We all fight over who gets to use it because after taking a shower the towels are so comforting and warm. We don’t have a problem with smelly towels anymore. We love this towel warmer!

What a shock when we opened the box!!!
When I opened the box, we were shocked at what we saw. We had ordered a brushed stainless unit. The unit we received looked like it had been done with a coarse hand brush. We had expected a nice soft finish like the other fixtures we had just installed. This was so rough that it felt like sand paper when you rubbed your hand over it. I think it would have snagged our towels if we had used it. We could also see discoloration on the back where the mounting lugs were welded on to the main body of the unit. Within 5 minutes, I called and got a return number and packed it back up. Of course, I had to pay the freight, but the unit was not something that I would even consider using. I don't know about the chrome or the painted units, but the brushed unit is the poorest quality item I have ever ordered.

Wonderful Gift for the Hard to buy for person
I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He is always a difficult person to buy for and I decided this year wouldn't be the shirt and tie year again. He loves it!! I did have to get our contractor to put it in for me, but he did it in few hours. It is sturdy, shiny (chrome), and heats up quickly. I'm so glad that I got it and so isn't my husband. The item was delivered quickly, in great shape, and the company was dependable.

Jeeves towel warmer
After searching at 4 different local plumbing suppliers and being told up to 12 weeks delivery! I found the exact towel warmer I wanted online at Vintage Tub & Bath. It was in stock and shipped immediately. I live in Canada and even with exchange, duty and shipping, I got it for $50 less than what I was quoted from my local suppliers and had it within 7 days (I'm sure it would have been considerably faster if it did not have to cross the border) Highly recommend and will definitely be looking for future purchases at Vintage Tub & Bath
