Shipping is free for the Continental US Only. See Shipping Outside the Continental US for orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, and other points outside of the 48 contiguous states. Some items include shipping to Alaska and Hawaii – please read the item description for this indication.
We ship most orders UPS Ground. We like their combination of reliability, tracking, and price. Strom Plumbing (Sign of the Crab) items that ship directly from the distributor in California are only sent UPS Ground signature required.

Items marked "In Stock" generally ship same or next business day from our Pennsylvania warehouse or the warehouses of our suppliers. Other items have the lead times clearly noted at the bottom of their individual pages.

We will contact you the day we place your order with estimated shipping and delivery times. You will have the option of canceling your order for a full refund if your item is on backorder.

The shipping cost for all tubs is included in the price of the item - Continental US only. Cast iron clawfoot tubs (at approximately 275 - 375 pounds each) and acrylic tubs (at approximately 100 - 250 pounds each) both require crating and ship via tractor-trailer only. Online orders for all tubs shipping from our PA warehouse include all shipping charges: crating, freight, and residential (to your home) delivery with liftgate service (see image below). The driver lowers the crate to ground level - you must arrange to have the tub brought into the house. For all other tubs, please refer to item description.

Please inspect the tub at the time of delivery. See the Damaged, Defective and Missing Items page for more information about inspecting a tub at the time of delivery.

Let us know at the time of the order if the delivery location is not accessible to tractor-trailers. If we discover after shipping that the freight company cannot deliver the tub to your house, we will notify you and either have the tub held at the nearest terminal for three business days or try to arrange delivery to another location. If the tub remains undelivered, the tub will return to us, and we will bill you for the actual storage and shipping charges both ways.

You can choose to pick up or have us deliver any tub that is in stock in PA. When picking up, deduct $100 from the shipping-included price. When delivering, we'll deduct $100 off the shipping-included price and charge a delivery fee of $1.75 per mile (round trip from Hazleton, PA 18201) to your ground floor or garage. Additional floors $50 each. Please call if you have any questions.

The Continental US shipping cost for most sinks and toilets is included in the price of the item. Sinks and toilets can ship either UPS ground or via motor carrier. When we ship these items using a motor carrier, we generally do not use liftgate service because it is fairly easy to cut the straps that hold these items to the crate and remove them piecemeal from the trailer.

Shipping charges on orders shipping outside the 48 continental states are calculated on a case-by-case basis. Just place your order online or call us and we will contact you with the shipping quote BEFORE placing your order.

Because import fees, brokerage charges, and government taxes are constantly changing, Vintage Tub & Bath shipping quotes and charges do not include these fees. Unless otherwise stated on the quote, payment of these charges is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Although we do our best to make certain your items arrive when we say they will, we cannot guarantee delivery times. To keep costs down, many of our items are shipped directly from the manufacturer or from central warehouses. Furthermore, we use shipping and trucking companies that do not guarantee their delivery times. In both cases, we just cannot ensure that every item will be shipped and delivered on time.

For the same reasons stated above, Vintage Tub & Bath is not responsible for any inconvenience or monetary loss caused by late deliveries.

Our policy is simple: If you are not completely satisfied with a product you purchased from the Vintage Tub & Bath website, return it for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price.

Just call us toll free at 877.868.1369 and ask for the sales department. We will issue you an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. This number simplifies and speeds up the processing of your return.

Please be advised all UPS packages must be inspected for damage within 72 hours of delivery. All common carrier freight must be inspected for damage within 2 business days. Damages claims after these time periods may be rejected by UPS or the freight carrier.
No restocking fees. No time limits. No hassles.

This policy does have a few common sense restrictions:

Items must be unused and/or uninstalled. We won’t issue a refund for the faucet used just so a guest bathroom will be ready for party guests or for the shower enclosure installed in a rental property so it would pass inspection. Some have tried.
We will not accept returns on improperly handled or abused items. For example, we do not accept faucet returns with wrench marks all over them (use a strap wrench to tighten plated nuts) nor will we take back items that were scratched because they were dragged across a dirty floor.
Shipping charges are non-refundable. We will pay for shipping both ways if we sent you the wrong item or the item is not as we described it. Read more about this under the Item is not as described section.
We will deduct the shipping cost from the refund amount for items listed as "Free Shipping." We will pay for shipping both ways if we sent you the wrong item or the item is not as we described.
No returns on custom work and special orders. Custom orders are just that – unique items or custom work done for a specific customer. At best, these items are very difficult to resell. Custom orders include shop work, custom-painted objects, and items we do not regularly list for sale on our web site.
We are not responsible for lost, misdirected, improperly packaged, or damaged return items. Please use a shipping company that insures and tracks the items they ship. Make certain that the item is packaged in accordance with their instructions. For example, UPS has issued Guidelines for Good Packaging you can use to properly pack an item for shipment. Visit: UPS's guidelines page for more information.

In most cases, you should be just fine if you reuse the original packing and shipping materials.

Please inspect all items for damage upon delivery. In the case of tubs, exactly follow the inspection and/or uncrating documents you have received from Vintage Tub & Bath to protect yourself from responsibility for shipping damage.

If you cannot reasonably inspect an item that requires a signature upon delivery (like most tubs), sign the receipt and print the words "One crate received - contents not inspected; This does not guarantee that the shipper will pay a damage claim, but it is better than signing for the item as "free and clear" from damage.

If you cannot inspect the item upon delivery, please do so within 2 business days.

Damage that occurs during shipment is the responsibility of the shipping company / carrier (Examples include: UPS, US Post Office, ABF Trucking, R&L Carriers, and FedEx). If you need to make a shipping damage claim, please call us within 2 business days of the delivery time and we will do everything we can to get the matter resolved quickly.

Customers may have to settle directly with the delivering carrier for all damage claims originating after signing for a shipment "free and clear" and/or 2 business days past the delivery time.

Check your order for damage within 2 business days after the delivery time. Call us toll-free at 877.868.1369 if you discover any damage. We will gladly pick up the damaged item and ship you a new item at no charge. We will not honor claims made more than 2 business days after delivery.

Defective items are covered by their manufacturers' warranties. Give us a call within 2 business days after delivery and we will do everything we can to get the matter resolved quickly.

In the rare event we shipped you the wrong item, please contact as soon as possible and we will ship you the correct item and pick up the incorrectly shipped part.

If you believe that our description of an item is inaccurate, let us know. We handle these situations on a case-by-case basis. If we are in error, we will refund your purchase price and cover shipping both ways. Please call us BEFORE returning the item. Many times we can arrive at a satisfactory solution that does not involve returning the item.

Please check your order for missing parts and accuracy within 2 business days after the delivery time. Call us toll free at 877.868.1369 if you discover any parts missing or not correct and we will ship you the parts you need. After this time period, we reserve the right to assume that the item arrived with all of the correct parts.

All goods are sold subject only to the warranties of their respective manufacturers. The basic warranty for an item is usually posted in the online item description. We will do our best to assist you with any warranty claims. Call us toll free at 877.868.1369 with your claims or questions.

The refinished vintage clawfoot tubs we offer come with a five-year limited warranty. We warrant the cast iron in our VINTAGE TUBS to be free from defects in material or workmanship rendering the product unsuitable for use for a period of five years after the date of purchase. We warrant the paint against cracking, peeling and lifting for a period of five years after date of purchase. If there is a defect in your vintage clawfoot tub; which is covered under this warranty, we will, at our option and in our sole discretion, repair the product, replace the vintage clawfoot tub with another vintage clawfoot tub which is, in our opinion, of similar kind, quality, or value, or refund your purchase price. If we elect to repair the product, we will pay up to $350.00 for a refinisher to come to your home and refinish the tub in place. This warranty is for residential (non-commercial) customers only. Commercial vintage clawfoot tub purchasers receive no warranty.

All of the clawfoot tubs we sell under the Vintage Tub & Bath name have a limited lifetime warranty which covers any manufacturing defects anywhere in the porcelain or cast iron that cause the tub to be unsuitable for use. Examples include cracks in the porcelain or cast iron and rust spots resulting from a defect in manufacturing. We also warranty the paint against cracking, peeling, and lifting for a period of one-year. We will repair the tub, replace the tub, or refund your money on a case-by-case basis. This warranty is for the life of the original, non-commercial owner for as long as he/she owns the tub. Commercial purchasers of Vintage Tub & Bath tubs receive a one year limited warranty on the porcelain, cast iron, and paint.

We believe that we offer the best combination of product, price, and service in the business. If you find a lower price on an individual, identical item currently in stock, at an established online retail store, we will match or beat their price, guaranteed.
Just email us at supply@vintagetub.com with the address of the web page with the lower price. We will confirm the validity of the claim and either match the price or explain why the claim was rejected. We will honor this Best Price Assurance up to the time final payment is made on an order.

Clearance, factory reconditioned, damaged, pre-owned and reconditioned merchandise (including refinished vintage tubs and sinks) are excluded. This assurance applies to all new, factory sealed products. Items must be the same brand and model number. Items must be in stock at established U.S. online retailers. Exclusions include special sales, manufacturer rebates, coupons, close-outs, senior citizens discounts, buy one get one free offers, percent off sales price offers, discontinued, clearance, and damaged product, and typographical errors. We define competitors as established online retail stores - not wholesalers, liquidators, auction sites or used merchandise sites.

We do our best to make certain that our prices and stock status information is up-to-date and accurate. Vintage Tub & Bath will not be held liable for any typographical, stock status information, or prices listed in error.

We understand that there are times when you cannot take delivery of a tub or other items on the date you had originally planned, and you need us to hold it in storage. No problem: we will store items for up to 30 calendar days after the original delivery/pick-up date. After that time, we will contact you to set up a new delivery time within the next thirty days. If you cannot take delivery of the item within that time frame, we will charge a storage fee of $2 per day per large item (tub, toilet, sink) starting 60 calendar days from the original delivery date. We will sell undelivered and/or abandoned items after a period of 180 calendar days from the original delivery date. We will refund the proceeds from the sale – less any fees incurred and storage charges – to the purchaser at their last known address.

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order. In general, you may cancel an order up to the time it ships. Although we will do our best to minimize your costs, we will have to charge you any expenses we incur in processing your order up to that point (examples include: a 4% charge for voiding a credit card transaction, shop time, custom paint mixing, etc.). After shipment, our returns policy takes effect.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards as well as personal, business, bank, and cashier's checks. Checks must clear before we process an order. We also accept money orders denominated in US Dollars.

We require that items be paid for in full before we process an order. In some cases you may see a charge on your credit card statement before you receive an item. This can occur when you order an item with a long lead-time near the end of your credit card billing cycle. Call us at 877.868.1369 if you have any questions.

We charge the applicable Pennsylvania Sales and Use taxes for all orders delivered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. For all other customers, taxes are your sole and exclusive responsibility.

Vintage Tub & Bath is a family-owned supplier of antique and reproduction bathroom fixtures, faucets, and accessories. Currently in our sixth year of operation, we own and occupy a 12,000+ square-foot warehouse (formerly a railroad freight depot) complete with a workshop and a state-of-the-art refinishing department. Our staff works diligently to provide you with the best possible service and products.

Oddly, our business has flourished even though we have no corporate mission statement framed with the owner's portrait. We have no focused paradigms or empowerment campaigns for quality assurance team members who think outside the box. We do not have a management task force or a huddle room where our associates form work circles to roll-play client concerns. We don't even take process breaks from our work units.

First, lets talk food. Martin's Restaurant (301 East Broad Street, West Hazleton PA 18201, 570.501.2500) is a truly outstanding restaurant reasonable prices and great food. Since it among the best in the area you will want to get a reservation before stopping in. If you like juicy ribs in a classy sports bar environment we recommend Damon's (120 State Route 93, Hazleton 18201, 570.453.0400). Locals love Byorek's Knotty Pine (great BBQ sandwiches and milkshakes - 26 and North Church Streets, Hazleton, 18201, 570.455.3211) and Jimmy's Quick Lunch (THE best hot dogs on the planet, 123 East Broad Street, Hazleton, PA 18201, 570.454.3281). Finer Italian dining can be had at the Ovalon (254 North Wyoming Street, Hazleton, PA 18201, 570.454.0853) or Zola's Italian House (109 Winter's Avenue, West Hazleton, PA 18201, 570.454.2361). Note: if you need directions, just go to www.mapquest.com and enter the address of the restaurant you want to visit.
